Rotary Club of Queenstown had a special speaker, Ms Zhang Tingjun (daughter of PP Teo Pok Zin) speak on her exciting adventures and impressive selfless nature of giving to humanity and the community.

Ms Zhang Tingjun, a young dynamic lady, fearless in reaching out to help people in need. A social entrepreneur and wilderness medic who represented Singapore in netball; co-founder of The Chain Reaction Project; a social enterprise that uses adventure as a platform to raise support for critical social issues.
Previously a presenter and producer with Channel NewsAsia, Ting was also the Executive Director of Singapore’s leading disaster relief organisation, Mercy Relief. She managed a portfolio that spanned 25 countries across Asia Pacific, including the team’s response to the 2015 Nepal Earthquake.
Ting is an advisor on numerous councils and has been described by Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Jose Ramos Horta as “a remarkable woman and an achiever with a caring heart”.
